1 - Can anyone use these Bird Whistles?

Anyone can use these bird whistles easily as long as that person can say "chuut". However, this whistle is not a toy and due to it's small size, we do not recommend it to be used by children.

2 - Is the bird whistle easy to use ?

All you have to do is place the bird whistle on the tip of the tongue and clamp the whistle between your tongue and palate. Then just say words like "shampoo" "chips" "shop" "cheese" etc...

You'll see it's easy!

3 - The expired air has to go below or above the Bird Whistle ?

As you talk the expired air has to pass only between the whistle and you tongue.

4 - The Bird Whistle should stay on the tongue or stick to the palate ?

Yes the Bird Whistle should stick to the palate so that the blown air does not pass between the whistle and the palate.

5 - How is it possible to differentiate the two sides of the Bird Whistle ?

On the side which must be placed face down on the tongue, you can notice that the membrane exceeds the sides of the metallic puck.

6 - Should we remove something from the Bird Whistle before use ?

No! The bird whistle is ready for use, If you do remove something it will never work again.

7 - Which way do I have to place the Bird Whistle in my mouth ?

The rounding end should be toward the back of the tongue and the membrane near the teeth. About a centimetre away from the tip of the tongue.

8 - How to store the Bird Whistle after use ?

The whistle must be kept in a dry first then can be slid back in it's plastic bag.

9 - How long should I wet the Bird Whistle ?

The bird whistle should be wet for about one minute before use, that is the time necessary to make the rounded part flexible enough to stick to the palate.

10 - How many times can I reuse the Bird Whistle ?

Our Bird Whistles are the French Sifflets Rossignol®, they are the best you can find, however the life of our bird whistles depends on the way they are used and how stored (several times).
